Human – Will To Power:
You are exactly the sort of human that gives your species their current galactic reputation. At the beginning of the session, roll +Will. On a 10+, hold 2. On a 7-9, hold 1. At any time that session, spend your hold 1 for 1 to get an automatic 10+ on go aggro, or seize by force.

Adept – Warp:
You may use Warp as if it were a weapon (3-harm close implanted). When you successfully attack using Warp choose 1:

  • +1harm
  • Permanently destroy 1-armor
  • +1forward to go aggro on anyone who can see the attack

Adept – Barrier:
When you go into battle equipped with a biotic amp implant, you strengthen your biotic barrier. Roll +Will. On a 10+, gain +2-barrier, on a 7-9, +1-barrier. This bonus lasts the entire battle, and refreshing your barrier will include the bonus. At any time during the battle you may purge your barrier’s biotic energy. When you do so, select one character within close range per level of barrier you choose to purge and inflict an amount of shock to them equal to the number of levels of barrier purged. Since barriers and shields are incompatible, this move may not be used with Fortification or Tech Armor.

Personal – Dutybound:
When you are given an order by a superior, take +1 to any rolls you make when following that order. If you pursue that course but don’t accomplish your ends, you mark experience.

Soldier – Carnage:
In battle, you count as a small gang with harm and armor appropriate to your equipment and moves.

Special – Dysfunctional Combat Implants:
When you use a biotic power as a weapon, you may add harm to the damage equal to the number of shock you choose to take.

Brother Astrophel (he called himself that despite assurances that this religion did not have a monastic order) was the most fervent convert the week-old elders had ever seen; he believed passionately in freedom and had utter faith that this new religion would lead the Nebula to a brighter, better place. He did anything he was told to do, but he had a habit of overdoing it, often violently. After the third blown-out bulkhead, the elders realized they had a problem on their hands, and conferred among themselves. It was decided to review the actions of Asada herself and her companions to find suitable guidance on the disposition of problematic assets. Study revealed a clear, consistent course of action.

Brother Astrophel’s passage to Talaria Station was paid in advance and he was given a small stipend to tide him over until Siala Jonis could presumably put him on payroll. As the shuttle departed, the elders congratulated themselves on a difficult situation well-managed. This problem was now out of their hands.

…oh, I appear to have failed to mention his strange, glowing blue scars and Husk-like appearance. Good thing nobody around here is prejudiced!
